Despite what you think, your so called YouTube funny videos and movies could comeback to haunt you even after a few years. Most videos can be downloaded from sites like YouTube onto other computers or even reproduced. Even if you delete the videos, they can still be out there on the web. It is also likely that hundreds or even thousands of individuals have already seen it. If these activities were documented in your video, there is a good chance that you could be terminated from your job, especially if your recording was viewed by your employer. Also, there are a millions of employers who ingest the internet to research their new applicants. Your video, especially if it documented unfortunate events, could preclude you from getting that dream job.
As much fun and as funny as it might seem, you should always be careful not to document events that you may regret. We live in a video rich society and taking video and posting it to shared websites has embarrassed many and gotten a lot of people in trouble with the law. Think before capturing the moment and sharing it with the world.
